It consists of the seven main characters (Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity and Spike) with their original appearances, but the ponies have different cutie marks and most of them have very different voices than those from the TV series. Their personalities are also greatly altered; for example, Fluttershy in the TV show is very kind to animals and has a gentle voice; in the PONY.MOV series she kills animals as well as Rainbow Dash with a chainsaw and talks like Fat Albert.
Each of the episodes focuses on one character in particular, much like the television show.
