Pandemantine

Origin: A portmanteau of the adjective pandemic and the noun quarantine.

Definition: A state or period of isolation in which normally innocent, happy individuals are indefinitely confined and isolated due to a global health crisis, environmental disaster, and / or political unrest.

Symptoms include a heightened level of anxiety or depression; the propensity to overindulge in the excessive consumption of alcohol, recreational and / or prescription drugs; as well as the use of the internet to engage in the inappropriate pursuit of exotically beautiful women who are geographically remote, emotionally volatile, and otherwise generally incapable of following instructions.
