It is said when something or someone is being touched abruptly or handled harshly.

Cop: "You're under arrest!"*handcuffs suspect and pushes him into the back seat*
Suspect: "Hey man, easy on the merchandise."

*Person 1 hugs Person 2 suddently*
Person 2: "Haha, easy on the merchandise."
Person 1: *sarcastically* "Shut up."

*Tourist picks up glass sculpture with little care*
Shopkeeper: "Hey! Easy on the merchandise, kid."
Tourist: "Sorry, no hablo chino."

Mass Merchanditis

The hazy feeling one gets after spending too much time shopping at large chain stores including but not limited to Walmart, Home Depot, and Bed, Bath and Beyond. Characterized by a headache, dry eyes, blurred vision, blank stare, sore feet.

Jane had to return home immediately, take two tylenol, and a large glass of water as her day of shopping was beginning to result in a textbook case of mass merchanditis.

moochandise

Refers to how the selfish-minded social spongers of the community arrogantly view/categorize any of their fellow townfolk who are gullible and/or soft-hearted enough to consistently fall for the leeches' "poor poor pitiful me" handout-requests.

It's okay to help out someone once in a while if he encounters honestly-unforeseen emergencies/setbacks that were genuinely beyond his control, but you need to be very careful that you don't just become moochandise whom every slacker in town comes running to every week for undeserved favors/assistance. Tip: To better determine if a blubberer's distress is da real McCoy or not, check da person's pockets for bottles of Cryagra; if you find some, show da dude da door ay-sap!

A term used for persons who share a space to sell products or merchandise (like co-working).

Short form = Co-Merching or Co-Merch

I will co-merchandise my products at the new shop Make 'Ur Merch.
I will co-merch my products in the new shop on the corner.
Antinette is co-merching her products at the new co-merchandising shop.
