Get the kailucc mug.-Kaeluced or The Kaeluc effect is a phenomenon that describes an individual forcing others to believe that a Couple pairing / Ship is taboo when in fact the pairing in Canon from the fictional world is not taboo .
The term originated when two characters ,Kaeya and Diluc from Genshin Impact are paired up into as romantic relationship in the Fandom by people . In the Chinese version of the game , the two characters are said to be sworn brothers . However in the English version , they are said to be brothers . Due to mistranslation of their relationship in the game , several people have misinterpreted their relationship as incestuous and forced those who like the pairing to dislike it as it's deemed 'problematic' . Thus creating a debate on the two characters' dynamic. As Genshin Impact originate from China , people in China have confirmed the two are in fact not incestuous . However those who did not listen still have a strong stand about it and continue to push their beliefs.
* Please note that if you dislike a fictional pairing due to reasons , do not force others who like it to also react the same reaction and distain towards it. Block the person and move on to protect both you and the other party .
