James J. Jeffries

A heavyweight boxer also known as the "boilermaker" who fought consistently from 1895 until 1904 beating such legends as Bob Fitzsimmons, Jim Corbett, Peter Jackson and Tom Sharkey and retired undefeated. He was like many at the time, a staunch racist, and when the legendary black champion Jack Johnson won the heavyweight title, he foolishly agreed to "put that N*gger in his place" despite the fact that at this point he was morbidly obese and retired over 6 years. After extensive training in fitness and sparring (and many more insults to Johnson), the bout was deemed the fight of the century, and the vast majority of white people bet on Jeffries despite the major fore-mentioned disadvantages. As expected, Jeffries lost in humiliating fashion while Johnson grinned and toyed with him for 15 rounds before knocking him out. Many white people were so butthurt they began killing random black people and even each other. Jeffries undefeated record was now destroyed, but he took the loss with humility and admitted he couldn't land a hit on Johnson and lost fair and square. He stayed retired afterwards, and remained a public figure until his death in 1953.

Jafferism

Attribution to being a Jaffer. A Jafferism is an act which is seen as "absolute" or "amazing," where the person doing such an act either benevolently uses their position of power or perfectly executes what someone else wants them to without prior knowledge.

He just walked in, got on one knee, and proposed to me so perfectly; it was just an absolute Jafferism.

He had all the power over them that he needed, but he was still kind and fair. Everything he did was a Jafferism.

Jeffried

To be jeffried is to fall asleep usually in a public/awkward place and to have a friend/stranger snap a photo beside your sleeping self. Hilarity ensues but if the jeffrey is done properly, it will be stealth and you will have no idea until you log on to social media. Named after Flipping Out's Jeff Lewis, whom has the best and most creative jeffrey's ever!

The act of unexpectedly getting screwed over by one of your close friends, loved ones or business associates. You know it's coming, but every time it happens you are still somehow surprised, you would not think someone that close would stick it to you again.

The person's name does not have be Jeffrey, it is the name of the person who created the act of being Jeffried
