Something that occurs in music (usually heavier darker music, i.e. Type O Negative and The 69 Eyes) where the singer sings in an EXAGGERATEDLY deep voice that is past the point of attractiveness and just.....stupid.

Peter Steele and Jyrki 69 need to just CUT that hootenanny out!

Hootenanny

Original meaning is a thingamajig in US slang and it can be used to conceal the meaning from children, strangers etc. Usually tools. In the later 20th Century it came to mean an informal party with music.

Don dropped his spanner under the hood. Dang! Pass me my hootenanny.

LAN hootenanny

n. A LAN party also meeting the parameters necessary for a hootenanny, especially when occurring south of the Mason-Dixon line. WARNING: In order for a LAN party to be an official "LAN hootenanny", ALL ethernet cables MUST be home-made, and include at least four (4) VISIBLE home-made connections. Solder on those connections is highly optional! Excessive use of duct-tape on, around, inside of, or across any computers at a LAN hootenanny should always be expected. Excessive use of the word aight is recommended for the full effect.
