A person who has great accomplishments that makes them outstanding. Commonly used in the context of an overachiever. Someone who exceeds the expectations of others often gaining respect.

Michivesky is a well-decorated noble service man. I heard he has been the top of his cohort ever since enrolling! He truly is a high flier.

Felicia has done it again! She has obtained highest marks ever achieved for this exam. That highflier!
