'heedin' is a scottish term, commonly used around parts of perthshire which can be used to express lack of interest or caring for something. It was started by neds, who seeked new words to add to their pointless and unfathomable spoken jargon and dialect, and it has gradually progressed to become a favourite word of the legendary 'Brig Boys Crew'.
