1. In any dispute between two people when the argument reaches the point of a stalemate it has reached Golic's hammer.

2. When two people are having a dispute the bigger and stronger person wins by default due to the fact that they will beat up the smaller person.

When the jock and the nerd were arguing over the answer to the math question it got to the point of Golic's hammer and the nerd subsided.
