If you want a person to come visit you out of town, across town, or to an event, and that person replies “send for me,” they are basically saying pay for their way to go.

Him: Come visit me in Paris it’s lovely out here.

Her: Send for me.

Keeping up with someone, as in if you're in a relationship with someone, and you're "checking for them" then you're calling them and spending time with them, or otherwise paying attention to them.

Now that we've broke up, you don't have to check for me at all.

Reconsider bringing any issues concerning me to light. Such issues include: shortcomings, false accusations, wise cracks, jokes, etc. Meaning there is a time and place for this and current company is not it.
