Disposable Girlfriend

A girlfriend you have at a short time only because you're bored or just want to have a girlfriend. A girl who is dumb, is lonely, or has daddy issues make great targets. You usually will lie and appeal to this person until they get sick of you or you get sick of them. Then when you're done you get them to hate you so you don't have to talk to them again.

That one girl I dated last month? She was a disposable Girlfriend. I never really cared for her.

disposable pets

Disposable pets are those small, furry or feathered things which seem to come and go frequently, particularly in families with several children. They have a rather high mortality rate - particularly when they are purchased as part of a "responsibility-development" program for a small child. Often, they can um, pass on and be replaced the same day, and no one is the wiser.

Hamsters, parakeets, mice, little turtles from the pet store, and the more common fish for fishbowls rather than large tanks - like goldfish, mollies, etc. - are all examples of disposable pets. They have to be rather generic in color and pattern, the more easily to be replaced; after all, who can tell one mollie from another? But a dog or cat is easily identified, and therefore NOT a disposable pet.

Disposable-hero

An individual that is exploited by ones employer for the use of their many skills and/or knowledge of a particular task at hand, then kicked to the side as if the individual really means nothing to the employer in which he works for.

Gary the only person working in automotive knew he had to fully stock the department for the days business before leaving. Because of Gary's past knowledge of the hardware department he was sent by management to hardware to go help other people stock leaving gary's department to suffer greatly. Upon Gary's return to automotive he asked management for an extra hand to help get automotive caught up, but was then told their was no extra help to give yet still had to have his department in perfect standing before leaving for the day. Gary was wrote up the next business day for not having automotive stocked the day prior to managements satisfaction. The hardware manager was commended by management for how good their particular department looked that day. Gary left the office feeling like a disposable-hero.
