The Damned were the first British punk band to get a record out ("New Rose") thus beating the Sex Pistols; and record a full-length album (Damned Damned Damned), thus beating the Sex Pistols.
Definitely the best punk band, and probably the best band in the history of the world.
Started in 1976 and still going strong.

Yes the same phrase used in Hateful Eight but also a higher form of saying I'll be damned when someone with a southern accent says this phrase you know it's either really good or really bad maybe a bit of both

Guy 1: yo remember your phone you lost

Guy 2: sees phone "well I'll be double dog damned

christ be damned

expletive. when used correctly: can terminally vapor lock the old and infirmed... cast fundies into apoplectic fits... generally focuses the attention of any individual or crowd.

when golfing, hook your first shot into the rough. yell "CHRIST BE DAMNED!!!!" ... followed by striking the earth with your driver. walk towards the cart. those two strangers in your foursome won't know what to think... and their game will likely be a bit off.

Excellent punk rock band with a gothic demeanour that formed in England back in 1976.

Dave Vinian is one of the great gods of punk rock.

Great 'Damned' songs include Horror Taxi, Smash It Up, Thrill Kill, Born To Kill and many more excellent tracks.
