It comes from the song of the same name from the American band Mastodon. The song is about drug addicts cutting down trees with burls. Those burls - with their beautiful curls - are then sold to wood workers, which in turn allows them to buy even more drugs.

If you mess with them you'll end up dead. That's just the curl of the burl.

curl jockey

1. Someone who goes to the gym and only works out his biceps, triceps, delts.

2. Sometimes its a person that only works out his portions of his upper body. For example. His work out may consist of doing curls, tricep extentions and bench pressing; yet he does not squat, deadlift, dip, etc.

Look at Tony. He's such a curl jockey. I never see that guy in the cage doing squats or deadlifts for that matter.

Ok, this is an intransitive verb.
It means to curve body and draw up legs: to sit or lie with the body curved and the legs tucked up.

It also means, to feel extremely embarrassed: to be overcome with embarrassment, revulsion, or some other strong feeling (informal).

1st meaning.- curl up in bed with a good novel.
2nd meaning.- When I realized my mistake I just wanted to curl up and disappear.
