Chatham Pocket

The anus. Slang term used in the Medway towns of Kent in south-east England (the Medway towns perhaps have the worst reputation of any in the county, and Chatham is definitely the least desirable of them). The term derives from the local criminals' tendency to smuggle cigarettes, lighters and drugs into the police cells, by secreting them in their anuses. Chatham criminals are so notoriously inept that the local police believe they know they will get caught, and consequently have to prepare for a stay in the cells by smuggling their home comforts in their "Chatham pocket".

I lifted that idiot lad again for swiping CDs from the market. No doubt he's brought everything he needs in his Chatham pocket.

Chattahoochee High School

A suburban HIGH school located in Johns Creek, GA that is more diverse than a United Nations conference. The 'ghetto ratchets' from the southside to the prodigy 13th grade math asians to the Basic white rich kids we all love to hate. We've got every type of person represented, heck even our cafeteria is surrounded with countries' flags on the walls for useless decoration. We get made fun of for being an old school (20+ years old) but our grades, athletics, and tradition make up for it. The seniors spend their time doing nothing and/or in the Slounge. We use rivalries with other schools to get dressed up, get really hammered, and go to football games. If you don't want to catch a disease, you'll go to the bathroom in the D Hall. Half of the female population always knows how many days there are until spring break.
Just ask one.
We are Chattahoochee.

1. Alcohol of any sort, usually liquor

This is an Americanized version of a Ukrainian word meaning "Small Cup" or "Little Sip", which has been adopted to refer specifically to a small sip of booze. While the tradition began specifically with the Krawchuk family of Philadelphia, PA, the idea has spread across the country (and overseas) because who doesn't love a good Chatka Time?
