Case Day 

An annual holiday celebrated by students at Saint John's University, The College of Saint Benedict, and Gustavus Adolphus College, all private liberal arts schools in Minnesota. Case Day is celebrated by individual students attempting to consume a case of beer in the 24 hour period. Typically celebrated on the Saturday before finals week of the spring semester.
He's got 24 tallies on his arm, so you know he completed case day.

Contrary to the other definition,
Beating a case is not only getting away with a crime, because that implies that you commited the crime.

You can also beat a case while being innocent and not having commited any crime, thus falsely accused.
Feds incarcerated me for no reason, still i had to fight in court and prove my innocence.

In the end truth ruled and i beat a case!
