keep this bumped

Used in message boards to denote a topic that should be kept on the first page through a process known as bumping. Translates to "Great topic, this should be read by everyone." If a thread is worthy enough and succeeds in generating a large pool of bumpers, a moderator will usually come in and sticky the topic.

A term originating from an infamous World of Warcraft guild on the Stonemaul-US Server. Players from <YOUR BUMMED> are known for their relentless griefing, trolling, and racist pranks. The name of the guild comes from the term "bum" which refers to killing a player in the air, or in some other place where they cannot reach their body and are forced to spirit rez.

The expression "your bummed" has been generalized into an expression used when anything unfortunate happens to a player. The gramatical error included in the guild's name is there intentionally for trolling purposes.

"Don't let those fags from <YOUR BUMMED> in the raid, they're a bunch of assholes"

"You missed gladiator by 1 rank? Dag bro your bummed"

"I bummed this bad rogue yesterday, took a great screenshot of it for the forums"

The exact opposite of the phrase Jumped the Shark. When a television show hits such heights of popularity that even the White House publicly announces their plans to schedule any broadcasts by the President himself around the scheduled airing of said television show.

Using a direct quote made on January 8, 2010 by the White House Press Secretary run through a Fox News update: The White House does not plan to schedule President Obama's first State of the Union address on the same night as the premiere of the popular ABC series. "I don't foresee a scenario in which millions of people that would hope to finally get some conclusion in 'Lost' are preempted by the president," Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said Friday.
