When you f%#k up royally in life and get rewarded for it. Derived from Bristol Palin, a moron who turned an unplanned pregnancy into a career.
I beat up a homeless guy once, but a boxing manager saw it & I got a job! Totally bristoled that one!

A small city which is divided over SW Virginia/NE Tennessee via State Street. It has a NASCAR track, and thus is the bane of many existences for a few weekends a year, because out of town race people are crazy drivers, rude customers and frequently drunk in public.
Residents frequently complain of there being nothing to do there, but this is only because they don't live in any of the surrounding towns.

Bristol is a suburb of Hartford, located on the beautiful, chlorine-scented Pequaback River. It’s a great place to live if you like white women with paranoid schizophrenia, professional athletes with the minds of pitbulls, and Honda Civics with engine knock. It is a great place for gun enthusiasts, as almost every neighborhood is a gun range. Favorite pastimes include breaking into old buildings, finding homeless people to narcan, and collecting bottles on a bike. Notable people are Aaron Hernandez and one of the writers from The Simpsons.
“Hey, did you know that Sarah Palin named her kid after Bristol, CT because the ESPN HQ is located there?”

UK city, situated in South-west England. Historically linked with the slave trade. Has a Cathedral and a prominent University. Like most cities in England has exclusive areas and a downtrodden city centre. Bristol has adopted a chav image. This was due to the chav character in the popular UK show little Britain, Vicky Pollard, being played with a Bristolian accent. Has two football teams, Bristol Rovers and Bristol City, both of which seem to win minimal success. Bristol's claim to fame is that it was the birth place of Hollywood actor, Cary Grant and the name of the city was mentioned in the first Harry Potter movie. Many Bristol teenagers adopt Bristolian slang which includes the phrases 'der lush' and 'shes mingin!' Schools are notariously bad here.
