A loose organization of internet trolls. Used to be an actual organization until its leader got busted for computer hacking. The GNAA has become a meme, and while there is no longer a large organized group, many trolls claim to act on behalf of the GNAA, keeping the spirit alive.

homeowner's association

Located in the USA, these "board members" and their "president" are basically the mafia and/or terrorists.

They terrorize and cause hell with their own fellow neighbors who agree to be part of their little "shit world."

They threaten them with foreclosure of your own home, they scrutinize you for the littlest things, and they are basicallly dictators.

They also have the power to fine people (for tons of $$ a day) for various things like:
*You can't put a flagpole in your yard (I'm a damn patriot! i represent the USA!).
*You can't put plastic flamingos in your lawn.
*Your fence is one inch too tall.
*You can't paint your house a different color without permission of the board.
*AND SO MUCH MORE SHIT!!!

Let's compare it to someone familiar in history!!!
Lets think of Hitler. He terrorized and dominated a whole society and murdered and slaughtered tons of Jewish people.

What did we learn today? Kick their ass!

Here's a simple headline for you: "HOMEOWNER ASSOCIATIONS FILE MORE THAN 4000 FORECLOSURES ANNUALLY - MOSTLY AGAINST HISPANICS"

friend by association

A person who is your friend, but only because he is one of your friend's friends. It doesn't really matter how much you like him, or how often you converse, he is still your friend by association. But he can only be a friend by association if you have met him, (and not just heard about him) and talked to him.

Erik is Chris's friend. Josh is Erik's friend. Erik introduced him to Chris. Chris greeted him. Josh is now Chris's friend by association, and vice versa.

Creepy by Association

A phrase that indicates when one is perceived as a creeper even if he/she is not directly doing any creeping. It can be used to describe a perfectly normal, not creepy person who has made company with a creepy person, and therefore is seen as creepy.

Joe: Jason wanted me to go to the party last night with him so he could forget about his breakup, but he ended up just spying on his ex all night.

Dave: Woah. It sounds like you ended up being creepy by association.

American Family Association

(n.) an allegedly non-profit ultra-conservative organization that advocates criminalizing homosexuality and lobbies against hate-crime legislature and same-sex marriage. The AFA has, at times, advocated gay-bashing and aheres to and publicizes the belief that all non-Christians are in league with Satan. The AFA (as it is known) owns over 180 radio stations and airs its message of intolerance and hatred through these venues. AFA members rationalize their views on homosexuality by claiming Hitler was gay (tell that to all the homosexuals who died in concentration camps)and to raise children in a Jewish household is to introduce them to a criminal way of life. The AFA submits that all AIDS patients should be quarentined.The AFA once called for a boycott of Ford Motors because Ford had offered benefits to the partners of their lesbian and gay employees. The Southern Poverty Law Center has investigated the AFA as a hate group and notes that it is "primarily an anti-gay organization."

Home Owner's Association

An organization of a number of people in a housing development who conspire to control their neighbors and prevent any sense of community in that neighborhood. They generally busy themselves with telling people to cut their grass, paint their mail boxes, pull the weeds growing in the cracks of their sidewalk, and then charging the people for the pleasure of being harassed. Abbreviated as HOA.

If you paint your house that color, the Home Owner's Association will hire an assassin to blow your head off with a sniper rifle.
