In Britain this is a private school. In other words you pay to attend. Many are boarding schools. The pupils are well off ,well spoken and very British. Common sports played are rugby, hockey(field) and lacrosse.

Oldfields School

Amazing school in Glencoe

I have been reading a lot on this website about Oldfields-and i really beg to differ. For those who wrote those comments let me tell u this-40 percent of the girls at OS are on scholarship-so you might want to think twice before critisizing yourself for spending 34 grand a year-which u probably do..2nd of all-Oldfields is an amazing place and if you dont like it-why dont you just leave? You are poisoning the schools name and that is really unjust to those of who really are passionate about Oldfields. I DO NOT wear tiffanys, and i definately dont wear lily. I dont own a lacoste shirt-and i wear my pearls that my grandmother gave me to nice events. I am an oldfields girl, and i will not be a part of your description. Oldfields is a historical, and amazing place. I have met the most amazing women in my life, and i have been educated by the best teachers. I am very thankful to have the opportunity to be at such a wonderful school. To those of you whom are looking at schools and have come across this negativity-i am truley sorry. I hope that you wont believe that girls are this mean. The only girls mean enough to act the way some of my peers have described, are the girls who wrote those comments.

Private School

A school which children attend by either paying fees or through scholarships. Despite what many people think, many people of many different cultures and races attend these schools, and contrary to most peoples beliefs are not stuck up, fake, snobbish and self centred. In fact, many people are fairly poor because they choose to give their child a private education, because they believe education is the most important thing. Many people have images in their head which are extremely stereotypical, and are only true in very rare cases. These people do not know what they are talking about and if they took the time to look around a private school, their views would change.

Mum can we rent a DVD tonight? No sorry dear, we cant afford it because all the money is going towards your private school fees.

High school

A place where people think that they are different from everybody else so they try to stereotype everyone into worthless catagories like "goths" and "skaters" or "preps" where in reality everyone in there is the same; trapped in a place where pain and misery get trapped in there and float around like pollen and everyone breaths it in like oxygen. Everyone has pain even the "preps"(even though they manage to have an anicdote; just wear the most expensive clothes and make sure that daddy buys you the most expensive car and the pain goes away!!!!)

High School

Orignally high school was ment to be a place for kids to start getting high. However, drug criminalization and political correctness stopped this institution from keeping it's true goal. So now, high schools are ran by people who claim that high school is a place of learning. However, this is a false statement. I don't think anyone actually believes that.

I hate high school. Junior high was less intense. (JK of course.)

School Dance

A non-drinking non-smoking dance that people who never get any action go to. People think there hardcore when they "grind" but really arent. At our school (dss) its overpacked with wimpy techno playing. Girls dress up like sluts and guys think theyre pimps. Its a overall bad experience I just call up my gf and have some fun with her.

Guy: Aw man i grinded with this hot babe at the school dance!
Me: Think ur pretty hardcore then do you? So I take it thats the farthest uve been with a girl then.
Guy: (sighs) yup.
Me: Dude next time go to a party and get drunk be a normal teen.
Guy: Yeah alright.
