The Vince Carter Paradox 

When someone or something is repeatedly called overrated to the point that it becomes underrated by proxy.

Vince Carter was an NBA star who played well in his prime, but he had minimal playoff success and he alienated fans when he forced his way out of Toronto. Despite his stats, he never really elevated teams to that next level. As a result, fans often label him as one the most overrated players of all time. People don't appreciate how good of a player he was and he has arguably become underrated as a result.

Guy 1: Everyone I know says Avengers: Endgame was really overrated.
Guy 2: It can't be that overrated if EVERYONE says it is. It's the Vince Carter Paradox.

Bravo Vince is in reference to Vince Gilligan, one of the producers and writers for The X-Files and creator of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. He's widely considered a modern day auteur of television. Bravo Vince can be used sincerely as a complement, but is more commonly used sarcastically in response to a false or exaggerated behind-the-scenes claim - usually predicated by "fun fact" or "little known fact" - making light of the lengths the shows' crews would be known go to for quality.

Person A: Little known fact, when one of the cousins needed to be an amputee, Vince Gilligan himself sawed the actor's legs off personally. He was screaming the entire time, but when it comes to authenticity and craftsmanship, Vince Gilligan takes no prisoners.
Person B: Wow, that's impressive! Bravo Vince!

When someone stays up all night drinking and carousing, only to transform into an alternate personality after a certain time or quantity of alcohol. After the transformation, this person acts significantly out-of-character and may frighten or confuse those around them. May include significant re-enactment of television or movie characters or spontaneous eruptions into song - both hair metal and show tunes.
