squelch tail

A burst of noise (a.k.a. "static") heard after a FM radio transmission ends. The random static sound is actually the radio trying to decipher the ambient background noise into meaningful audio. Usually this noise is hidden from the listener with the squelch function on the radio. In typical squelch systems, the audio circuit is turned off if the radio isn't receiving a signal of a certain minimum signal strength. The squelch tail occurs when the transmission has just ended and the radio circuitry doesn't respond quite fast enough. This is remedied by systems like STE or Squelch Tail Elimination by Motorola which send a brief subaudible tone right before the end of the transmission so that the audio circuit turns off before the modulated signal ends. Creative use of CTCSS like turning off the tone generation circuit on a repeater before the repeater tail will work for radios using tone squelch on both transmit and receive.

My VX-150 has a very long squelch tail.

Tail's Skypatrol

A game made for the Sega Game Gear and reproduced for the Sonic Gems Collection. One might think that this is one of the hardest games in the Sonic world, but some may consider it to be incredibly easy.

Tail's Skypatrol is so difficult, I'm not selling it back to Gamestop in 2 days, like I do all my other games.

tailrappin’

Tailrappin is when a person is basically talking out their ass (saying whatever it takes) (lies in a sense) to get what they want from another person .

And they articulate it so well it is not recognized as foolery by the person being fooled ! It’s simply A form of Deceit

Eg. man you can’t listen to anything that guy ALTON be talking about cause all he doin is tailrappin’ That Guy sure is a tailrapper , you got to be careful around him.

Dude, the other day, Sarah was getting out the shower, and her hoop-tail got caught in the shower curtain. We had to cut it off and she was devastated, she'd been growing it for 3 years now.
