1. Derived from the words "stuff" and "things", an alternate term to be used as a replacement when the actual term of something is unknown. (strictly meant to be used towards close friends or when talking in a very casual manner)

you can usually (but not limited to) tell the STOOF by: accesories such as old skunked beer, a dime bag of overpriced dirty shit weed, the constant blaring of dave mathews band, "mandals", cut off jeans, and the generic whack catch phrase.
