Atheist

One who does not beleive in the existance of god. Literally "no-god" ism. a=no/not (ancient greek) and theos=god (ancient greek).

Atheists have a common reputation of not bothering to think about life and will go to hell for their ignorance. In actual fact, atheists do a hell of a lot more thinking than the religeous who blindly follow because they take fictional books far too fucking literally. While christians beleive in god, heaven, hell, sin, the devil and armageddon, atheists realise this is all bullshit and do a favour by not scaring the shit out of everyone; And not causing countless bloody wars; And not telling people that you are giving satan power by jizzing on the ground.

Christian: Look at that atheist, he will burn in hell for his ignorance. I bet he's never scared the shit out of anyone in his life.

Muslim: Yeah, tough look for him he's not getting 21 virgins when he dies like I am.

Christian: Look at how much we have in common, uniting under god, now where were we...

someone who does good things because they are good, as opposed to Theists, who do good things solely in order to earn brownie points with some sort of God in order to get into heaven

Theist - "Here's £5 for cancer research, but don't spend it on Stem Cell research. I'm going straight to heaven now."

Atheist

Not a greedy know-it-all teenager, who pretends to hate religion but celebrates Christmas, as posted by anonymous, rather someone who does not believe in god. This person may or may not celebrate the overly-commercial holiday of Christmas which no longer has a basis in religion.

I do not believe in any deity, therefore I am an atheist.

Atheist

The belief in atheism means that someone who believes so strongly in their own wisdom and knowledge that they refuse to aknowledge the existence of God. These people will say that God can't logically exhist. Example: Out of everything there is to know ever, the average person knows MAYBE 1% of all of it. In the other 99%, dont you think that there could be proof that God exists. Of course if you're a strong atheist, then this doesnt matter, because you refuse to believe in God. The one who created the very hairs on your head. Atheism just doesnt make logical sense.

Atheist: Hmm, where did all of this world come from? I think that a mass trillions of years ago was all collected in one place, which finally came apart due to some kind of explosion, by chance...

God: wouldnt it just make more sense to know that I created it all? That everything you know and more was simply imagined by me? Just a thought...
