We’re not people who believe in things like an afterlife, deities, prayers, religious rituals, etc. A normal atheist has no real problem with other people being religious or spiritual, so long as they keep that to themselves and don’t try to force others to adapt to their beliefs.
I am an atheist. When I was about 12 years old, I realized that there is no such thing as a higher power, nor do we go anywhere after we die. Everything is stored in your brain, and when your brain ceases to function that’s the end of you. You just return to the same state of non-existence that existed before you were born.

- Conservative Atheist: an atheist who holds right-wing political views. Conservative atheists are very rare, but they do exist.
- Angry Atheist: a lifelong atheist who is extremely hostile and confrontational. Angry atheists have an unbridled hatred for all religions and often seek to abolish them all entirely.
- Reddit Atheist: an atheist who frequently uses Reddit or is otherwise terminally online. Reddit Atheists are overwhelmingly toxic to the point where it severely affects their daily life. It's OK to not believe in God. Just don't turn into a Reddit Atheist.
