The greatest Chief Justice in the history of the Supreme Court. Presided during the Civil Rights era of the 1960s and helped facilitate the rise of the liberal society of America today. He expanded protections for criminal defendants, strengthened voting rights, and of course engineered Brown v. Board. A true American hero.

Earl Warren is beloved by the left and hated by the right for his judicial philosophy.
