As opposed to a newb, a noob is someone who has done somthing for a while yet completly lacks
A) A skill needed to do the task
B) Common sense of any kind
or
C) An IQ above 60, still has a sense of self awareness, yet still persists in the futile effort to succeed in the given task.

noob is endemic to the sportbike scene more than online gaming.

usually someone with just enough credit to purchase a bike they have no business owning nor skill to control properly.

Often the noob can be spotted by looking at the newest bike with the most damage done to it in the shortest time. Notice that they are most often seen standing next to their bike as opposed to actually riding it.

There is usually a direct corrolation between the size of one's chicken strips and one's noobness

Noob comment: I'm buying my first sportbike- a Busa with spinner rims because 600's are 'girls bikes'.....

The guy with a bike for 2 weeks and $4000 in repair bills from trying to do wheelies in a parking lot instead of learning to actually RIDE the thing.

What gay people call others when they wish to feel better about themselves. Although, often the case is that the person doing the "calling out" of said noobs, is in fact, a sad excuse for a human being himself.

Noob 

A name given to a person who is very bad at what he is doing. Often mistaken as the same as newbie or newb, but a noob is someone who is as bad as if they were a newbie. Commonly used in video games, such as World of Warcraft, Counter-Strike, Halo, etc.
There are many variations of the name in, for example in leetspeak n00b, and nab, nub, plus many more.

Cole: Man, I was playing Counter-Strike for 8 hours last night! My best score was 15-134!
Andrew: sigh... noob...
