Studying one or two subjects in school more than others because of personal preference or just not caring about them.

I’m not studying Latin right now, it’s a sort of Academic Triage.

Academic Weapon

That one essay based student with a traumatic villain origin story that is either really straight or really fruity, probably the latter because the best ones tend to study English. They usually have a bunch of younger siblings and/or cousins they have to look after and explain stuff to, but they somehow still get killer grades and a shoutout in every assembly for giving off teacher vibes.

1. "Why are you in Mongolian throat singing? I thought you were an engineer; isn't that just academic sludge?" "The university requires five art credits to graduate."

2. "Bro, are you done with the homework for Chemistry? The Prof gave us an entire Packet with 50 questions!" "Yes, but at that point, it's just academic sludge."
