Death Scroll

(Verb) The action of getting stuck scrolling social media for hours on end, sometimes becoming impossible to stop. The victim often loses track of time, forgets tasks, and eventually numbs their brain into a deep fog. Often times the content is considered “Brain Rot” and the user’s vision can even become impaired, feeling as though they are several feet from the screen. Can be a common side effect of ADD/ADHD.
I was supposed to get all my laundry done today but I was caught in a Death Scroll on TikTok so I guess i’ll have to do it tomorrow.
