phrase used widely by teenagers and young adults in the mid 90s as it was made popular by the comedy geniuses Stew Lee & Richard Herring.
they used it mostly in the second series of their hit tv & radio show 'Fist of Fun'.
It means basically to want everything, if you want the moon on a stick then you want everything, including things you can't have.

Rich: you wanted the moon on a stick...well look! i went up and got it for you!

Stew: but i don't want it!

A preferred method of instant rape in the Halo series of console FPS games. Occurs when a plasma grenade delivered by a very lucky or highly skilled thrower directly contacts the body of an opponent. The grenade then gives the new owner a death omen in the form of a small beep and explodes miliseconds later, killing instantly without regard to the state of health. Overshield cannot even protect. It's arguably the most satisfying form of cornholing in all of Halo, especially if done across the map. Comparables are Killamonzaros, no scope beatdowns, mouthy 12-yr-old halo t-bagging, bulltrues, and zeit skeets.

In days of old, before toilet paper and the Sears Roebuck catalog, a stick was used to wipe your rear clean in the outhouse. You had to be sure you grabbed the clean end of the stick, and not the shit end.

Sticked and Ripped

Marine jargon for having third molars (wisdom teeth) removed. 'Sticked' with an anesthetic syringe, and teeth 'Ripped' out. Procedure is performed by an oral surgeon. Most Marines are required to have their wisom teeth removed in order to be in world wide deployable, ready to kill something condition. The term was coined in Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan. Most Devil Dogs, however, get sticked and ripped during boot camp.

Private Schmuckatelly is at dental getting sticked and ripped, he will be sick in quarters for a few days recovering.
