Bouncing is when you export your song from the DAW into an mp3/wav, and a catfish bounce is when it sounds completely different from what you heard in FL Studio (usually on the first bounce)

Me: I just spent 2 hours mixing this song, i cant wait to export it so i can listen to it later
Me after i export it: what the fuck bro why are the vocals so loud? this is a catfish bounce.
