Appears to afflict men mainly, also see small-dickedness}. A person who genuinely enjoys being drunk and drinks only for that purpose but does not have the same problems and coping issues as an alcoholic. It derives from drug addict.

Rachel is the biggest drunk addict I know - she only drinks to get drunk, has a great time and then wakes up the next day and goes to work.

An addiction to ‘wharf.’ Many people who have tried wharf suffer from wharf addiction, due to it being extremely addicting. People with wharf addiction often feel mentally and physically numb, as well as going through serious frequent withdrawal symptoms
