Winners love winning

A meme made by @ihatebodhi on TikTok where they misunderstood the abbreviation ‘WLW.’ Has been coined by the sapphic community to joke about happy WLW relationships (sometimes ‘losing’ refers to toxic/failure WLW relationships.)
If ‘winners love winning’ why are they always losing?

winner-take-all

The type of system used in the electoral college in all states except for Maine and Nebraska. Instead of the winner-take-all system, Maine and Nebraska have split electoral votes. The battleground districts are Maine's 2nd Congressional District (ME-2) and Nebraska's 2nd Congressional District (NE-2). Maine is a blue state while Nebraska is a red state. In the electoral college, all 50 states have electoral votes and there are 538 total votes but 270 are needed to win. If a presidential candidate wins the popular vote in one state, that state's electoral votes go to the winner. The losing candidate receives none.
Why is the electoral college a winner-take-all system even though there are faithless electors?

winner vs. wiener

A comparison of someone with a successful track record due to his having a mental "backbone", as opposed to a cowardly weakling who is reluctant to speak up or try anything new/risky/unconventional because he fears failure and/or offending someone, and so he lives a life of stagnation, shame, and mediocrity.
To determine which side of the "winner vs. wiener" scale you are, consider whether or not you're willing to "go out on a limb" for the potential betterment of your life, take an unpopular view in the interests of morals or progress, or to step out of the crowd and stick up for someone else.
