Ground surprise

Something a pet (normally dog) finds and eats off the floor/ground (typically when outside) and is normally eaten very quickly before the human can take it away.

She found another ground surprise! I think it was a chicken bone again!

The Battle Grounds

One of the most original and creative Half-Life mods out there. This mod is based on the Revolutionary war. It is realistic, taking between 1-3 shots to kill a person, however usually 1 or 2. Ground Control

The person in the group (who is either sober or (more rarely) uses the drug so much it hardly affects them) who watches over the others who may be under the effects of drugs, usually hallucinogens like shrooms or acid. Their job is to watch over everyone and make sure they’re safe. Most of the time, their job is to keep you from having a bad trip (panic attacks and stuff) and maybe acting rash.
