A person who feels they have to outline the obvious or over explain things so they can take credit for 'thinking of it' even when the thing is so obvious that no-one else said it to avoid being patronising.

The boss is such a flexer when she sends emails out explaining things we all know already.

Flexercising

When someone preforms a physical often outdoorsy activity, but not for self-betterment but only to either A) use as a tinder picture, or B) flex on their followers of any other social media platform. In other words they only reason they went on that hike was to get a picture of themselves, not because they enjoy hiking.

Wow, I can't believe Johnny went on another hike, I thought he didn't like hiking.

He doesn't like hiking, he's just flexercising because he thinks it will help him get girls.
