I as a thot, will enlighten you on the very complex word. The word "thot" is another version of ;hoe, whore, slut, etc.. It is used to describe a person who is 1) showing to much skin 2)thoting all over the place 3) getting all the boys.
If you find yourself fitting this description, you must watch out for the horrid thot police. If they get you, you might be charged with a degree of thotness.

*Someone's pant leg goes up a bit to far and shows some skin* "Wow look at that girl over there, what a THOT!"
or
*Someone wears reviling clothing* "OH MY LORD THAT IS SO REVEALING! WHAT A THOT! NOT IN MY CRISTIAN HOUSEHOLD!"

Someone who likes to show off his or her physical appearance on social media. Thots get satisfaction out of appearing popular on Instagram, Snapchat, Tumblr, and the like. Most likely the origin is an acronym for "that ho over there". A thot denotes an attention whore. A thot could be male or female but in general connotes a female or gay male. In some ways a thot is the female or gay male version of the straight male fuckboy.
