Originally from the French MMORPG Dofus where Zaaps are a location in game.

Person 1: You ever actually do anything in game?

Person 2: Nah, I'm too busy zaap sitting.

Sitting on your hands

Trying not to contact someone that you really shouldnt contact, for example: Your ex, someone you are chatting up and dont want to appear over keen to, your friends girlfriend that you have a crush on, etc.

Alludes to the thing that teachers and parents make little kids do to make sure they dont touch things they shouldnt. Literally sitting on their hands.

Dude: 'I want to text that girl I met at the club last night...'
Friend: 'Did you text her already and she didnt reply?'
Dude: 'Yes...'
Friend: 'Sit on your hands then. You know the drill.'

Phone sitting

The act of remaining seated while a nearby phone rings.

I was sitting on my ass at the computer when the phone began to ring, and I decided I was to lazy and interested to get up and answer it. To make matters more annoying; the person called back twice, and hung up at the answering machine so that a dial tone echoed throughout my house for three seconds.
