It feels like no one understands you..you feel like your not happy with yourself & others. You try to make other people happy b it sometimes it doesn’t work. On the outside you seem really happy, but on the i aside it’s a whole different story. People think they care but they don’t. You try not going anywhere or don’t try anything anymore. You also do t ever want to wake up. You always put yourself down & try to hurt yourself.

Get the Depressionmug. Depression is different than feeling depressed. In fact, the exact definition is this:
"a mental condition characterized by feelings of severe despondency and dejection, typically also with feelings of inadequacy and guilt, often accompanied by lack of energy and disturbance of appetite and sleep."
You can feel depressed and not have depression, and having a mood swing doesn't mean you have depression. Also, you don't necessarily have depression if you have all of these symptoms, it's better to check with a doctor.

Get the Depressionmug. A sickness that lots of people have no idea what it feels like; depression will get you to think in different ways than you're used to. Friends dissappear and nobody seems to care. Having depression is like being colorblind, and everyone keeps telling you how beautiful and colorful the world is. Yes, it might be there, it mighy be pretty, but we can't see it. We feel like we never will. Contrary to popular belief, depression isn't simply cured by smiling or laughing. A glimpse of color isn't enough to fix any of this damage. A lot of people will confuse depression with a call for attention, which is a stereotype, but 99% of the time not the case. If someone confides in you, let them know they'll be okay and you'll be there for them. They don't need to be treated different just because they're depressed. A lot of us are still normal and it's not a contagious disease. Prolonged contact with a depressed person might have an affect, but it is unlikely that they'll turn you into a fully depressed person.

Get the Depressionmug. It feels as if a knife is being wedged into your chest, every mistake or slip up or bad event is the knife slowly being wound deeper into your heart. Every problem is different in size and is therefore sometimes pushed in deeper than usual. Eventually it's in so deep you only need one last problem to send it plunging into your heart. You can stagger around with the knife in your heart as long as you want, but there are ways to remove and heal it. Some solutions work better than others, crying will clean the wound but the knife will not be removed. Sharing your problems and telling someone else about your problems gives them the chance to fully remove the knife and cleanse the wound, something you may be unable to do due to the immense pain.
You will never be fully happy again, your scar will remain forever, but you don't have to let it control you.

Get the Depressionmug. People with depression usually feel like shit 90 percent of the time, and feel like anything they do either makes people angry, upset or annoyed. People think that they do it for attention but really when they tell you it's a cry for help, the last resort.
When your tired of living but scared of dying.
When your tired of living but scared of dying.
Person 1: you can tell me everything.
Person 2 : yeah I just feel really shit like I've let people down all the time and I want to die because I always feel depressed
Person2 : I'm being diagnosed with depression
