Lowest Common De-nom-nom

when a group gathers and tries to compromise on an appropriate dining spot, the differences in desired cuisines leads to everyone settling on a standard diner that nobody wanted to eat at in the first place. They have settled for the lowest common de-nom-nom

Joe- who's up for chinese?
Steve- nah man. im in the mood for mexican
Danny- no thanks. I'm not in the mood for diarrhea. Italian?
Steve- Had it last night. besides, im allergic to wheat. Theres a nice steak joint down the block...
Joe- Im vegetarian, so fuck you. What about bon cuisine, down on 5th?
Danny- fuck you rich boy. I can't spend $40 on a piece of salmon. Denny's?
Joe + Steve- fuck you.

Joe- Fuck it. we're going to marge's country diner.

Steve- fine. they got everything and they're dirt cheap
Danny- like your mom. I guess. It seems to be the lowest common de-nom-nom.

What was once a raggedy community college in the middle of downtown Richmond has become the most wild and fun damn university in Virginia; just ask a Tech kid about it.

It's Saturday at Virginia Commonwealth University, so, yes, I am having a damn wild time. How is that house party in Harrisonburg, nerd?

Is that girl wearing a top? Why, no. She isn't. God, I love Richmond.

Best damn school in the state of Virginia. For people to like to have a good time and learn a lil something while their at it. Every type of person is welcome, we dont judge - we party.

Best art, medicine, and mass communications schools around.

Best parties, clubs on every street, with the best damn people around. You can be yourself at VCU, we dont judge people like those snobs at U of R, dont have high STD rate like the hoes of JMU, and def know how to party it up unlike the lames of UVA.

Has Broad Street, the best place to hang with friends and eat, or just chill. Who else has Coldstone, Quiznoes, 5 Guys, Chipotle, and Extreme Pizza on the same strip?

common sense

1) Putting the pieces together using the knowledge that one already has. Usually obtained by having actual life experiences, as opposed to sitting at a desk of in front of a textbook all day.

The only type of knowledge in life that is truly useful over 99% of the time.

1) Jimmy spent eight years at his desk getting his advanced degree in mechanical engineering. He was hired happily straight out of college making $105,000 a year, but ultimately failed at even the simplest of automotive tasks, since he lacks the common sense to so much as change his oil.

It also took him 45 minutes to find the entrance on the hooker he hired on a lonely Friday night.

Common Courtesy

a. to be polite and to respond timely to invitations because you shouldn't be a douchebag and say MAYBE to an invitation because you know people have to fucking cook for a certain amount of people!!!

b. to talk to other guests at a dinner party and not avoiding eye contact and acutally listening to the hostess when she says "please sit down"

c. not being a major douchebag

"hey, can you sit down and have some common courtesy for your hostess?"

common rider

a great band that sadly has broken up now. it was jesse michaels newer band that he formed after taking a long break from the music scene.they were by far one of the best bands to come out of the break-up of operation ivy.
