Dead Dove: Do Not Eat

A fanfiction tag equivalent to “what you see is what you get” for dark, sometimes explicit content. It means that whatever you see in the tags, whether that be cannibalism or torture, is what you’re going to read.

Person A: “I read this fic tagged with Dead Dove: Do Not Eat, thinking it was gonna be gore, but it was so much grosser!”
Person B: “yeah, it’s a real pet peeve when authors tag that with no context.”

Dead-Love

Dead love has many definitions, but this one retains to that of someone you've never been in a relationship, but have had feelings for.

Having feelings for someone, then finding out that a relationship between the two of you would never work, causing the sparks to die.

Mostly common in hopeless romatic people, due to a cacophony of reasons.

(Names are random, didn't like 'Man1' and 'Man2')

Man 1; Dude, didn't you like Alex for a little bit?

Man 2; Yeah, but they have a boyfriend. I liked them for the first semester, but Dead-Love killed it.

Man 1; Ya win some you lose some.

Dead Trash

Dead trash is meant to be used to describe something and is mostly an adjective. Dead trash means something or someone is completely and utterly worthless, useless, or just garbage. You could use this when talking about someone that is dead to you, a food that you think is disgusting, or referring to a horrible dad joke that your friend just made. This phrase is very flexible and can be used in many situations, either humorous or otherwise. Very casual and easy to use as a fun term(can also be used to confuse people, but it always gets the message across).

"I love her, but she thinks I'm dead trash." "Oh my gosh, that restaurant is so dead trash." "The joke that my professor told me this morning was dead trash."
