Facebook Check

noun/verb: to inspect the Facebook profile of a potential boyfriend, girlfriend, random hookup to see if he/she is in a relationship before proceeding to make advances. This is done to avoid socially making an ass of oneself. Danger: Sometimes, Facebook Checking may open the door for a Facebook Stalker.This is also done to see if the desired person is loose or stuck up.

"I'm glad I decided to Facebook Check that girl I met at the rave last night. Turns out she's a real ho."

"I know a guy that facebook checked a girl he was in love with, now he's a full blown Facebook Stalker."

" That guy from our school I did the Facebook Check on has had like 50 STDs in the past month or so."

Facebook Evidence

When in a dispute between two people this is when you go on someone's wall usually with the permission of the other person just so you aren't called a stalker to find something in either a picture or wall post etc. to prove a point.

Can also be used to help a friend find a new profile picture, fan page, appropriate group, etc.

Tali: I am sooooo ugly and fat!!
Aaron: Nooo you aren't you're kinda hot and you're definitely not as fat as other people i know
Tali: prove it!
Aaron: Can i use your fb profile to prove it using facebook evidence?
Tali: Yeah sure
Aaron: Ok heres that picture of you where everyone commented on it saying how gorgeous you looked

the lonely facebooker

Someone that usually puts up pics or status updates on facebook and never get as many likes or comments that they think they deserve. So the next best thing is to tag your friend in the comments (hoping that the friend will be forced to comment or at the very least, a friend of the "tagged" friend, might make a comment)

Facebook Chat

The newest and most convienent replacement for standard instant messaging of the past.

Facebook Chat is an instant messaging client provided to users of the Facebook.com website. The service is only available while directly logged into the site; in addition, a user's "online friends" are determined on, not screen names (as many older clients have used previously), but rather the same friends he/she has on Facebook.com.

I just don't use AIM to talk to anyone anymore because Facebook Chat is so much more convenient.
