A facial expression expressing one's criticism, disapproval, animosity, or scorn of varying levels of intensity towards another person. Defined by one person looking at the other out of the corner of their eye(s) with a scowl, as their head is turned in a different direction. Often an invitation for a fight or confrontation of some sort. Synonymous expression: "cuttin' your eyes" (at someone). Popular expression (and common occurrence) among urban American populations.

"Girl, you see that heffa over there givin' me the side eye? She MUST be tryin' to start somethin'."

City Side Respect

A cultural slang originating from the southern part of Montreal. Often used by street hockey-playing teenagers who get cross-checked to the floor by their friends, and land next to the sidewalk.

Shel: Why would you cross-check me to the floor?

Dom: This is street hockey, get used to it.

Shel: Start showing some City Side Respect or else you won't be getting any from me.

Dom: City Side Respect isn't a thing, and it will never be a thing, ja feel?

To have very poor aim. This hyperbolic term is usually used to denote poor marksmanship or to have very poor aim in certain activities that involve throwing something(such as certain sports).

1. While we were out hunting, Mitch was a very poor shot and couldn't even hit the broad side of a barn, and so when he ran out of ammo, he ultimately got Roy Horn'ed by the deer he kept trying to shoot dead.

2. Damn, Mark is such a mark-ass pitcher! He can't even hit the broad side of a barn, let alone strike anyone out. His pitches make even Rafael Palmeiro's erectile dysfunction reach out for a glorious grand slam!

The Dark Side Of The Rainbow

The Dark Side of the Rainbow is a perceived effect created by playing the 1973 Pink Floyd concept album Dark Side of the Moon simultaneously with the classic 1939 film The Wizard of Oz. Depending on the version of the film used (since different formats run at different speeds), parts of the film and the music appear to correspond with each other to a degree some have found surprising. The music video-like experience created by synchronizing the two is also sometimes referred to as "The Dark Side of Oz," or "The Wizard of Floyd."

Fans have compiled more than 100 moments of interplay between the film and album—including further links that occur if the album is repeated through the entire film.
