Get the soul plotmug. plot armor is when a scriptwriter/author/anyone composing a story is clearly keeping a certain character/idea alive despite many situations where said thing would've perished given normal circumstances and logic. Normally it's because it's a main character and/or important further in the story and/or if said character is the author's favorite.

I was reading this book and the main character has got to have plot armor... He was in a fight against 6 guys each twice his size and he somehow won!

Get the plot armormug. Often thought of as a little darker or more sinister cousin to the plot bunny, Plot Eels can be slippery and hard to wrangle. Where plot bunnies multiply and hop around your brain until you jot them down. Plot Eels live in Plot Holes, they are the things you invent to resolve conflicts. They slither into your thoughts and hiss into your ear the solutions that you should write down, before dragging you into the depths with them.
Plot Eels come in different forms from time to time, some are slippery and hard to wrangle, but they can also be toothy and give you quite a shock.
