Tom goes to the Mayor

This show is not funny at all. I've seen about 10 episodes, and none of them have made me laugh. It is just the same idea recycled over and over, with tweaks to the plot here and there. The only funny episode has Tenacious D in it.

two of the few words in the common ned's vocabulary. whenever talking to someone they want to pick a fight with, they use the words "square goes" this is supposed to threaten the other person or maybe even frighten them. if that person had any commonsence, it would have had the opposite effect.

Boom goes the dynamite

Popularized by a video of a radio broadcast at a college. A guy was asked at the last moment to fill-in for the normal sportscaster. He was given a poorly written script that did not match any part of the replay video, yet he stuck it out. The segment was so ridiculously fubared he ended with, "and boom goes the dynamite."

Refers to being involved in a situation where everything that can go wrong, does, yet sticking it out until, inevitably, the dynamite goes off (which itself is a reference to movies where, no matter what, the bomb goes off.)

The absolute finest example of "Boom goes the dynamite" is BP's approach to trying to stop the crude oil being pumped into the Gulf of Mexico.

choosing the one who must perform a select task by having each person in the group grab their ball sack and the last one who does it must perform a selected task. Usually said by the loser of a nose goes in order to have a second try at escaping the duty of performing the task.

Guy 1: some one turn on the damn TV.
Everybody: I'm not going to do it.
Guy 1: alright then.... nose goes! hahah you lose.
Guy 2: oh yeah?, I lose do I?... balls goes! hehe works every time!
