The Carnegie Pulse

As Carnegie Mellon's first exclusively online student-run news source, The Carnegie Pulse aims to bring high-quality, relevant news and opinions to the fingertips of students, faculty, and staff.

First and foremost, the Pulse is committed to factual, objective reporting. We strive to represent the interests of Carnegie Mellon's on- and off-campus community, and commit ourselves to treating writers and readers with great respect. The Pulse is free from sensationalism and bias, and though we are officially recognized by the University, we are independently financed and motivated.

With frequent postings, the Pulse will keep readers up to date with campus and community news. We encourage readers to submit their feedback, so that we can best respond to their needs and interests. We see our online forum as an appropriate means for communicating with such a technologically advanced university.

The Pulse is also designed to be a useful experience for aspiring journalists. Contributors will be required to meet deadlines and will receive regular feedback from readers, editors, and other members of writing-related fields. Still, writers will have a strong voice in the final presentation of their articles, and will be aware of any factual or stylistic corrections as they are made, ensuring their creative control.

prussian blue

The KKK's answer to the Olsen Twins. Twin girls whose minds were tainted since birth by their sick, white supremacist mother. Now they perform and release folk music that, in a "subtle" and "heartwarming" manner, tries to promote and support the disgusting plague that is white supremacy. Not only is it disgusting, it's disturbing. Disturbing in the sense that a grown woman would pollute the fragile, impressionable minds of her offspring with this shit. But they probably won't be going very far anyway; these two girls can't carry a tune in a dumpster.
Racist moron: "Prussian Blue is the best music duo ever! There's *so* much truth in their songs!"

Pulser

Anyone who goes by this name is automatically classed as awesome. A common trait of Pulser's is omniscience. The world as we know it would cease to exist should Pulser not rule over the newblets. Daily devotions are commonly given e.g "Master awesome guide us, master awesome lead us, we are one under your omniscience."

Pulsar Group Australia

A car club catering to Australian owners of tacky little runabouts called the Nissan Pulsar. It involves an on line forum where owners can discuss performance modifications to their little underpowered vehicles. They will ofter meet up for a cruise; where owners of the Pulsars will go for a spirited drive together until one of their cars breaks down. They pause until the tow truck arrives, and off they go again until the group is too small to go on. They also hold dyno days and track days. These are attended by other car clubs for amusement as most of the Pulsars can barely get a dyno to turn over at all, and track laps are measured in hours.
I've just bought a natty little runabout with a massive exhaust and huge wheels. I think I might join the Pulsar Group Australia.
