I created the Italian Apple Martini while working at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Here is how you make one at home...
3/4 oz Amaretto Di Saronno liqueur, 1 1/2 oz DeKuyper Sour Apple Pucker schnapps, 3/4 oz Stoli Vanil vodka, 1 splash Rose's lime juice, 1 splash cranberry juice.
Pour all into iced shaker tin, shake until tin is cold to the touch and strain into martini glass. Garnish with lime wheel, and serve.

Italian Goodbye

The act of leaving a social event with a prolonged goodbye, similar to Italian families, due to hugging each individual and spawning new topics of discussion in an endless cycle i.e. "Wait, before you leave let me show you what I've done to the lawn!", which leads to a discussion about how nobody ever helps you at Lowe's, which leads to something politically driven, which leads to Brad Pitt, which leads to a funny anecdote about how you all got really drunk last Cinco de Mayo, which leads to having another shot, which leads to watching a funny YouTube video you just thought of, which leads to how strange people are, which leads to "oh shit I have work tomorrow I really need to leave", which leads to another round of goodbye hugs, which leads to one more meatball for the road, which leads to "take some home with you", which leads to acid reflux, which leads to drug commercials...Etc.

Hunny I swear I was planning on leaving the party at 11, but once I finally said goodbye to everyone Steve brought up STAR WARS and I got stuck in an Italian Goodbye for the last 3 hours.
