The type of food one finds themselves eating when their parent figure is out.

Bradly's parents celebrated their anniversary in the city on wednesday and he had to depend on the cabinet food for sustenance. This meant nothing but pop-tarts and an open bag of cheese doodles.

Dylan was sad when he realized cabinet food would be his only dinner for christmas.
