When you read something to yourself in a specific accent based on the style of which it was written.
"I would like to speak to the proprietor of this establishment." I bet you read that with a british accent. That's called the Accented Text Affect.

The Teresa affect is when someone in a relationship has so much confidence it makes there partner think someone else was boosting there confidence and they are cheating.

What is profitable and 'good for the company' is a metaphor that drives their entire life outlook and moral/social philosophy.
