Red Hoods

Red hoods are people who wear MAGA hats for some of the same reasons the KKK wore their white hoods. They wear them for protection and to send a message to people around them that they aren't welcome unless they are white conservatives. They prefer to wear their Red Hoods in political gathering or mobs.

The mob was wearing their Red Hoods to the protest. They knew they could cause fear and instigate reactions without appearing to be racist regardless of the venue or age. When called out as bigots the mob simply said they were supporting an American president and Christian family values.
