What's that smell, have you trod in dog dirt?
If I could do any job for a day I'd go round and clean up all the dog dirt (a geniune response to a phone in on radio Leicester; 'Describe your ideal job for a day'! Excellent, dripping with post-menopausal outrage... like anyone was stopping her doing it anyway!)

Extremely old. When someone says they are "old as dirt", they are comparing themself to the earth, which has been around for basically forever. Depending upon your religious opinion, either since God created it or just after the big bang happened. Eitherway, the Earth has been around, with dirt on it, for an extremely long time. Thus, "old as dirt" would make someone extremely old.

When a person, usually a man, looks like he has a nice tan from being out in the sun all day. When in actuality it's just dirt. Usually seen on mechanics, truck drivers, racecar drivers, roofers, and a lot of guys that live in Florida.
When I saw that cute mechanic I thought, "wow, he's got a nice warm glow to him!", but he got closer and I saw it was just a "dirt tan".

'when the rivers red (meaning she's on her period) use the dirt track instead!'
'stick it up my dirt track'
'my dirt track is sore'
'i've got an itchy dirt track!'
