Briggsy Scale

A scale for determining a person's level of gayness. The scale runs from 1 (a straight person with an unintentional slight minciness in deportment) to 10 (Briggsy - the gayest of the gay).

See that guy with the pink lipstick and pink mini skirt?

The one with 8 guys wanking over him and a huge butt plug in his ass?

Yeah that one. He's number nine on the Briggsy scale.

bright flight

Bright flight is the sociologic and demographic term denoting a trend wherein everyone smart enough to realize there is nothing of value to be gained, economically or culturally, flees their community as the affluency of a geographic area decreases. Anyone able to contribute to advancing society will follow jobs and opportunities out of town, leaving a wasteland of mouth-breathers and neanderthals behind them.

Detroit fell to shit in the 70s due to White Flight, but the entire Detroit Metro Area was devastated beyond repair in the 00s due to Bright Flight.

Brigantine

a small island directly north of Atlantic City, NJ (you can see it when you stand on the beach), the kids go to ACHS and it is the most poppin town of the whole jersey shore. every teenager in the entire town frequents "the ave" (w brigantine avenue between 8th st s where wawa is and 14th st by ritas) every night between the hours of 8 and 11 pm. everyone pretends to go home at 11 for curfew but really people just smoke pot and drink all night on the beach. one of the few shore towns where shoobies and locals actually get along. you dont come to brigantine because you saw it on the internet as a great place, you come to brigantine because your family has a story behind it.

Shoobie (to local): finally im back in Brigantine! im so happy!

Local (to shoobie): yeah, lets go to the beach all day and then smoke a blunt tonight and hang at ritas!

a nice way of refering to a person who is not smart or who does things that are ill-advised

Briga-

A prefix associating otherwise unrelated words to the magic and wonder that is Brigadoon by Alan J Lerner. Most often heard in areas of suburban Connecticut.

"Did you paint those rocks yet? No? Well get it Briga-done!"

"Why did he use Vaporub? That's Briga-diculous!"

"I Briga-sent a message to the Briga-cast to Briga-tell them the Briga-rap would be performed at the Briga-party, but I Briga-forgot to reschedule the Briga-strike."

Spandex Brigade

Overly serious cyclists. These people can be seen on racers, sometimes in packs. So called because of their penchant for wearing spandex shorts and tops while cycling around. The Spandex Brigade are known for their flagrant disregard for traffic lights, signalling, one way systems and a plethora of other traffic laws they feel they are above.

I was trying to cross at a set of traffic lights in the city and nearly got run over by the Spandex Brigade as they ran through a series of red lights.
